So I know the Krita for Mac is still under construction, but I'm really loving it so far! I'm looking to delve into illustration, and this program is so straightforward and clean! Everything that I need to do seems to be working great - except for saving files (kind of a big deal). Every way I try to save my work, it seems to give me an error. I don't have a lot of technical know-how, so my description is going to be limited, but when I try to save as a.jpg, it tells me it can't export the pic as a heightmap because it's either not square or not grayscale. I haven't grayscaled it to find out if there's another directive after that, but all my pics are in black and white anyway. Ooooh, I think I figured something out!

So I noticed that every time I tried to select one file type from the drop down menu, the program tried to save my project as the next item up on the list from the one I had selected. For instance, when I selected for Krita to save my work as a.png, it turned it into a.ora. I tried this same thing to get a.jpg by selecting.ora from the drop down list and it worked! I didn't get any error messages, either.

Is that something easily fixed? At least I think I can use the program this way now! Hopefully this helps!
